Hokkaido Trip Part I
– Sapporo and Otaru, Hokkaido
Too much going on to wait on a post on my Hokkaido trip, so here is day one! Bought the wrong ticket at Kyoto station and missed some trains, but luckily the attendants helped me out ありがとうございます 🙏. I Got to ride the Haruka Hello Kitty Line from Kyoto station all the way to KIX which was pretty cool. Only about $17 and for a very comfy ride.
Had some amazing views from the plane. Seeing the snow covered mountains with the beautiful clouds was breathtaking. Cried a little bit realizing how lucky I was to finally be in Japan and going on such an amazing adventure.
Stopped in Sapporo and visited the beer museum かんぱい! Got the all you can eat at a tavern style pub and sampled some Sapporo famous beer.
Missed my transfer train in Otaru and had to wait 2 hours for the next one, so I explored the small port city, got some fun photos, and ate some really good sushi!
Made it to my hostel in Niseko around 10:00PM, today I'm exploring and tomorrow I will be skiing! Hopefully it will snow this weekend.
