Cherry Blossoms In Kyoto
– Kamogawa River, Doshisha Campus, and Nanzen-ji, Kyoto

This week in Kyoto: cherry blossom viewing! Went on a fun little trek through part of Shijo, visited Yasaka Shrine. The trees were especially beautiful at night when lit up with lights.

Had authentic all you can eat Korean bbq for the first time here, and it was amazing. I love food that is both tasty and fun to eat, and this is the best of both worlds. Cooking better eggs for myself finally. Trying to lock in the diet to finally gain some pounds, so breakfast is looking like eggs and fish from here on out. Friday I tried some different ramen, thinner noodles and less heavy broth which honestly was quite good, but I think I still prefer typical ramen more.

Later that evening I went to karaoke with the guys, and it was a blast! We stayed from 9:00 PM to 3:00 AM, and we would have gone for longer if only our voices could have lasted. It was a little hard choosing Japanese songs that were slow enough to actually sing, but we figured it out.

Also checked out the club fairs this week, as you can see I met a cosplayer. Looking to join a band here, and there are four clubs I could choose from for that. Check out my follow up post for my most recent club adventure!
